Customers and agents are now able to book flights and trips to seven winter destinations from all 10 of the airline and operator’s UK bases, including Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle.

Destinations on sale for next winter are Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Krakow, Prague and Vienna.

The expanded programme represents almost 60,000 seats – which is an increase of more than 75% compared to winter 2022.

The schedule features a mini-series of 21 trips in total, including eight new routes, such as Birmingham to Cologne; Bristol to Prague and Vienna; East Midlands to Krakow; Edinburgh to Vienna; Leeds Bradford to Copenhagen; and Stansted to Prague and Vienna.

In addition, flights and city breaks in the build-up to Christmas are available to Budapest from Belfast, Leeds Bradford and Manchester; Krakow from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle; and Prague from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.

Customers can either choose a flight-only option with Jet2.com or an Atol-protected package holiday with Jet2CityBreaks, available for a £60pp deposit.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said the brands are seeing "strong demand" from customers and agents looking to book a getaway to Europe’s Christmas market destinations for this winter.

"But we know that people are looking further ahead too," he added. "This latest programme promises to be our biggest and best yet and means we have festive wonderlands on sale from all 10 UK bases.

"The size and scale of our programme, combined with the reassurance that booking with Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks provides, means we are confident these flights and trips will be as popular as ever as people look for a magical winter escape to their favourite Christmas market destinations."
