New holiday, flight-only and city break options will debut in September utilising two new twice-weekly routes to the Portuguese capital.

These services will continue into Jet2’s winter 2021/22 and summer-autumn 2022 seasons.

Manchester flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays from 3 September to 29 October while Birmingham flights will start on 30 September operating on Thursdays and Sundays through to 28 October.

From 4 November to 24 March 2022, Jet2.com’s Manchester-Lisbon route will switch to Thursdays and Sundays, with Birmingham flights operating on Mondays and Fridays from 1 November to 25 March 2022.

Jet2.com will then continue to operate twice-weekly Manchester-Lisbon and Birmingham-Lisbon services throughout summer 2022 and into the autumn.

Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “Feedback from customers and independent travel agents is telling us that holidaymakers are wanting to plan and book future getaways this year.

"The start of flights, holidays and city breaks from Manchester and Birmingham airports to the new destination of Lisbon is an example of how we are meeting that demand and giving customers even more choice when it comes to their next getaway."

Of Lisbon, Heapy added: “Lisbon is a stunning capital offering the best of both worlds, whether it is exploring the charismatic and vibrant city, or heading to one of its many coastal resorts.

"With multiple weekly flights available for late-summer, autumn and throughout winter 2021/22 and summer 2022, it gives customers and independent travel agents all the flexibility to suit their budgets and needs.

"We’re sure Lisbon and its surrounding coastal resorts will prove extremely popular with holidaymakers who are looking to book ahead and give themselves something to look forward to.”
