Leger Shearings Group has appointed former JG Travel Group commercial director Matthew Herbert as group product manager across the Leger Holidays and Shearings brands.
Herbert brings with him a wealth of experience in the coach holiday industry, having most recently led the commercial output for JG’s four brands.
Prior to that, he had a long career with the previous Shearings brand before the company went into administration.

Leger Shearings Group has appointed former JG Travel Group commercial director Matthew Herbert as group product manager across the Leger Holidays and Shearings brands.
Herbert brings with him a wealth of experience in the coach holiday industry, having most recently led the commercial output for JG’s four brands.
Prior to that, he had a long career with the previous Shearings brand before the company went into administration.
In his new role, Herbert will head up product areas, taking responsibility for leading the product teams and developing and implementing product strategy across the two brands.
Leger Shearings Group’s chief executive Liam Race said: "Matt is a well-known and popular personality in the travel industry; he has the perfect skill set for his new position with us, with valuable coach industry experience.”
Herbert added: "I’m looking forward to re-engaging with the Shearings brand and also working with Leger Holidays. I enjoy working in the coach industry, and this is where my passion and expertise lies."
