The company has reported a rise in larger group bookings through both its Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays brands since the start of the year.
JG’s most popular group trips for 2022 so far include shopping-focused outings to Birmingham, Sunderland’s League One play-off final at Wembley and a number of Christmas market breaks.
Claire Dutton, JG’s trade sales manager, said: “We are so encouraged to see agents proactively developing their groups business through our brands. With travel firmly back on the agenda and restrictions now gone, customers are more willing to travel in groups again which provides a wealth of opportunities for securing larger bookings.”
Trade partners have seen increased demand for group bookings as local interest groups and organisations revive their annual trips and request assistance from agents, according to JG.
While another driver for business has come from agents creating their own targeted departures based on age demographics, interests and regionality of their existing clientele.
“This area is clearly gathering momentum and I’d encourage any agents interested in putting together their own dedicated group tours with us to get in contact,” added Dutton.
“It is encouraging to see enquiries for 2023 are already coming in and we have our own dedicated groups manager, who works alongside me to ensure agents have everything they need.”
