The findings come as part of the OTA’s first-ever travel trend update, which is gathered from customers’ basket data taken from its website.
In September, the brand saw a "clear indication" holidaymakers are looking to explore destinations more as the number of baskets for all-inclusive declined, particularly for couples.
However, for those travelling with children, all-inclusive continues to be the most popular choice, and customers are opting for stays of seven-nights or shorter.
The average customer basket last month was worth £1,287 and 73% of baskets were for late 2022 departures. Only three in 10 were for summer 2023, 46% were for family holidays, 94% were for seven nights or less and three in 10 were for all-inclusive breaks.
Popular destinations include the Algarve, Ibiza, Kefalonia, Marmaris, Kos, Crete, Alanya, Corfu and Tenerife.
