The operator has teamed up with Midcounties to host 32 homeworkers on the island of Ischia this week for its annual Chill VIP experience.

The four-day trip, departing on October 9, sees guests taking part in walking tours, enjoying fine dining and having the chance to explore Ischia as well as Sorrento and Pompeii.

The group will stay at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Terme, recently added to Kuoni’s new portfolio in the region.

The 32 agents will be joined by senior management from both Midcounties and Kuoni
including Sheena Whittle, head of The Personal Travel Agents at Co-operative Travel and Brad Bennetts, national sales manager at Kuoni.

Ahead of the trip, agents received a special delivery of a pizza box filled with Italian-themed goodies, including prosecco-flavoured gummy sweets, a miniature bottle of limoncello, a biscotti biscuit and chocolate pizza.

Whittle said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Kuoni on this year’s exclusive trip for our Personal Travel Agents. It provides a wonderful setting in which to put faces to names with the Kuoni team and to sample Kuoni’s recently introduced Ischia product.

“During the trip we are planning a series of live Facebook broadcasts to give the customers of our Personal Travel Agents, and our other homeworkers, the chance to share in the experience and ask any questions they would like answered about the destination.”
