She will begin her role at the Worthing-based operator from late August and will represent the company’s luxury brand, Classic Collection, and trade-only brand Classic Package Holidays.

She joins Classic Collection Holidays from Not Just Travel, having previously held management roles within business development at the homeworking agency and before that at Hays Travel Independence Group. 

Si Morris-Green, director of agency sales and marketing said: "We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Leanne as the newest recruit to the Classic agency sales team. Her career in retail travel started with Lunn Poly in 1994 so she brings a huge amount of knowledge, experience and talent to the role."

  
Edwards is tasked with heading up Classic’s regional sales managers for the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

"I’m delighted to have joined Classic Collection Holidays in this their 35th year of operation," Edwards said. "I’ve long been an admirer of the Classic brand."

In a restructure of the team, Jorge Quibell has been promoted to head of sales south, having previously been the operator’s strategic accounts manager.
