Proud Experiences, the LGBTQ+ travel trade exhibition, has been postponed until next year.
The three-day event, which takes place in New York, brings specialist buyers and suppliers together with pre-scheduled appointments as well as offering a conference programme.
Originally scheduled for June, the Reed Travel Exhibitions event was switched to November but has now been cancelled this year.
Event director Simon Mayle said: "The on-going pandemic has brought challenges to us all and we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to navigate them.
“Sadly, despite our best efforts, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Proud Experiences due to take place in Brooklyn. Given the climate, we simply cannot take the risk.”
Next year’s event will remain at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and take place between 21 and 23 June.
