Adams, who joined Unique Vacations in 2000 from Lunn Poly following spells overseas with Intasun/ILG, Thomson and Unijet, posted on LinkedIn it was time to "embark on a new chapter" after "almost 25 incredible years".
"This has been a carefully considered decision, but I feel that the time is right to explore fresh opportunities," she said. "I will miss everyone I have had the pleasure of working with over the years in the UK, Europe and further afield. It’s been an absolute privilege to contribute to the ongoing success of the UK sales team.
"I am proud to have received numerous awards for my sales performance during my career, but none of it would have been possible without the incredible support I have received along the way.
"To my colleagues, travel agents, tourist boards and all those I have collaborated with, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, encouragement and friendship, which has meant the world to me. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I’m hopeful that we will stay connected."
Posting to its Selling Sandals for Agents Facebook page, Unique Vacations said: "We would like to bid a fond farewell to Lorraine Adams, business development manager for Unique Vacations representing Sandals and Beaches Resorts.
"Lorraine dedicated almost 25 years to our brands and we’re incredibly grateful for her hard work, determination and fun vibrant personality. From the entire UK team we want to thank Lorraine and wish her the best of luck in this next chapter of her life."
Adams represented the brands in London and the South East. Dozens of agents responded to the post thanking Adams for her service, and reminisced too about educationals and fams they had attended with her.
