Eighteen of the agency’s homeworking agents – who are keen to become wedding and honeymoon specialists – travelled to Cyprus to learn more from tour operators, hoteliers and wedding specialists alike.
During the three-day programme, agents had the opportunity to gather information and take advice from specialists with the aim of each delegate coming away with a detailed plan allowing them to specialise and grow their travel businesses significantly.
The initiative included business sessions, tours of wedding venues, excursions which are popular with wedding and honeymoon guests, and the opportunity for some free time.
Head of commercial Darren Bien hosted the event alongside Di Victory, the business’s new business development and social media manager and Beth Palmer, business development manager.
"Six months’ planning have now culminated in a really exciting launch trip, and Beth, Di and I look forward to helping the associates fulfil their dream of building a really strong wedding and honeymoon arm to their business over the next 12 months," Bien said.
