Meon Valley Travel has appointed a new sales director to drive business growth at the independent agency.
Julian Munsey joins Meon from Reed & Mackay after more than 20 years working in the travel management sector.
Meon founder and managing director James Beagrie said Munsey has “an exceptional track record” in both sales and account management and would join the business’s board to help oversee future growth.
Beagrie added: “With the rollout of the Covid vaccine now progressing, one hopes that we can now start to see the light at the end of the tunnel with respect of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We see 2021 as a seminal year for Meon Valley Travel and believe there is a fantastic opportunity to attract new SME clients to our business travel division.”
Munsey added: “I genuinely believe that now is the right time to look forward. It is the right time to be positive and the right time for us, as an industry, to start to collectively rebuild.
“I’m delighted to be joining the Meon Valley Travel team, holding a steadfast belief that the value we can offer has never been more relevant. Now is the right time to capitalise on this and to seek new client partnerships.”
