SevenTravel, which has a £5,000pp minimum package price, excluding flights, will sell through independent agents and has Abta membership and an Atol. It will have a global span, including UK and Ireland packages.
The brand was created during the pandemic by Angelee Rathor, founder of events management company SevenEvents and business partner Bal Sohal, chief executive of property developer SevenCapital.
Rathor said: “SevenTravel’s experiences are founded on the principle of ‘travel better and travel less’ and are instead designed to be responsible, bespoke and truly connect individuals to the locations that they’re visiting.”
Experiences include renting an entire Monaco-sized island in the Indian Ocean, crafting a personalised wine blend in Argentina, going behind the scenes in one of Sri Lanka’s national parks and experiencing a tea ceremony in a private wooden townhouse in Kyoto.
The operator plans to become carbon net zero by 2035 and has launched a Positive Future Fund, donating £50 per booking to ethical projects.
