Former Super Break product executive Charlotte Earless and ex-British Airways Holidays destinations executive Kara Widdows have joined Attraction World Group (AWG).
Their appointments to AWG’s commercial team as UK product manager and US product manager, respectively, follow those of former Klook and Booking.com director Isabel Beckerman and 365 Ticket director Martyn Sansom.
Widdows brings more than 12 years industry experience to her role, having worked across destinations around the world. "The US is a real passion of mine," she said. "I’m delighted to continue working with our US partners and looking forward to learning more about the attractions and experience market."
Earless, meanwhile, said she was excited to return to the travel industry. "I’m looking forward to growing the UK product offering for AWG as we continue to bring on board new distribution partners and diversify our distribution."
AWG said it was pleased to have brought "two top commercial executives" into the business as part of "exciting structural changes" throughout the business.
“Ever since we acquired the business last summer, we have strived to attract some of the industry’s top talent to help us globalise AWG. Being able to attract Charlotte and Kara to the team is a real positive for us.”
The appointments come as chief executive Olly Nicholls and chief operating officer Justin Mahoney chalk up a year at the helm. “We aim to continue to attract the industry’s top talent to join us on this project," said Mahoney.
"With many other roles to fill in marketing, business development and client success, it is going to be a busy summer recruiting."
