Ryanair will launch a new Newcastle-Barcelona route this summer.

The budget carrier announced the addition to its summer schedule on Tuesday (7 March).
Flights will operate twice a week from April.
Dara Brady, Ryanair director of marketing and digital, said the new route will offer travellers in the North East even more choice this summer.
