Agents will be able to get onboard Rotterdam, Zuiderdam and Nieuw Statendam for a full-day tour at five UK and Irish ports – Dover, South Queensferry (Edinburgh), Cobh, Belfast and Liverpool.
Guests will be able to sample the ships’ restaurants, and will also get an update on the cruise line’s latest news.
“We know how important these experiences are for agents to increase brand knowledge and experience the product for themselves,” said HAL sales and marketing director Karen Farndell on Tuesday (7 March).
As part of the company’s decision to separate the line’s UK team from Seabourn’s, Farndell was appointed last June as Holland America’s UK director of sales and marketing.
“Having the new team onboard will also be a great opportunity to listen to our agent partners about their views on how the team can support with future sales growth,” she added.
HAL is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with a transatlantic crossing from New York to Rotterdam.
