The company, which has more than doubled its staff in the past six months, continues its recruitment drive as part of an extra £1 million investment announced earlier this year.
McIntyre has 20 years of experience from roles with companies such as Expedia, Club Med, Wendy Wu, Funway and Kuoni. He said was keen to join NJT as a result of its "great reputation".
"I can’t wait to start working with my new team to pass on my industry knowledge and business development tips to enable travel consultants to further grow their business," he added.
Edwards was previously a BDM for Hays Travel Independent Group as well as a regional sales manager for the Birmingham region of Hays after the company acquired the Thomas Cook estate.
Prior to that, she was regional engagement manager P&O Cruises, having spent 24 years previously with Tui in various managerial roles.
"It’s an incredible time to be joining Not Just Travel," Edwards said. "I can’t wait to be part of the team that supports these business owners to be the best travel agents and entrepreneurs they can be."
Paul Harrison, co-founder of Not Just Travel and its recruitment arm The Travel Franchise, believes the new additions mean the firm has "the highest ratio of support team members to consultants" in the industry.
"Following the success of our largest-ever conference, it is clear from our multiple initiatives that the new Not Just Travel is going to be making some big waves in travel this year," he added.
"We are growing at our fastest pace ever. Not even when we were building our business from scratch were we employing people as fast as we are now. It’s exciting times for our dynamic, growing brand and there are many more additional initiatives yet to be unveiled."
