Boss Mark White told TTG Milford Haven’s “huge programme” of coach trips was the main reason for the buyout, due to be sealed on Friday (29 November).
“It’s an area we really want to expand into – they have such a good network, with trips to Cardiff, Bristol and further afield,” said White.
“Based where we are, our customers can be restricted for choice, so having those options is a great string to our bow.”
White said the store would be modernised but would remain branded as Milford Haven Travel. Its team of six will all be retained.
The new agency will move from The Travel Network Group to the Advantage Travel Partnership, of which Ocky White is a member.
White added Milford Haven directors Janet Goffin and Diane Coombes had created “fantastic standards of service”, something he was keen to maintain.
“The team at Milford Haven have worked together for a long time and are a great bunch,” he said. “We’re really looking forward to having them join us.”
Ocky White has been named a TTG Top 50 agency for the past three years.
