The campaign hopes to raise £30,000 for Adlington Cricket Club in Lancashire and as of this week, has achieved £20,000 from donations.
James Cole, founder and managing director of Panache Cruises, who is a senior player at the club, has pledged to match every future donation up to a maximum of £5,000 via the Chorley-based agency.
"Adlington Cricket Club is very special to me, and I am very keen to support Jon and the team with this fundraising initiative," Cole added, who was named the John Hayes Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2021 Travel Industry Awards by TTG.
"We launched Panache Cruises three years ago this July, and now that the business is established and growing, it’s great to be in a position to help this popular cricket club provide better facilities for generations to come."
Jon Howells, chair of Adlington Cricket Club, said: "We are extremely grateful to James and his team at Panache Cruises for offering to match future donations, and believe we are now in a strong position to achieve our £30,000 target within the deadline of 4 July."
