The evenings, run by the P&O partnership team, will give agents all the news and product information they need to book the line’s 5,200-passenger vessel, which goes on sale in September.

Iona is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg and will be launched in May 2020.

P&O revealed in January that it will be adding a sister ship to Iona, due to enter service in 2022.

Quizzes will be held in Cardiff and Liverpool on August 23; Leeds on August 28; Manchester on August 29 and Glasgow and Ipswich on August 30.

Every agent who attends an event will receive 20 Shine Rewards Club points, which can be redeemed against items found in the Rewards catalogue.

Each event will culminate in a quiz, with the winner taking home the top prize of 3,000 Shine Rewards Club points. These are enough to buy star prizes including mini breaks and P&O holidays.

The evening sessions are free to attend and drinks and nibbles will be provided.
