ROL Cruise is aiming to raise £100,000 for the NHS Charities Together campaign by the end of June.
The Colchester-based agency is donating £25 for every booking it makes to help support the health and emotional wellbeing of those on the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic, from NHS staff to volunteers and patients.
Close to £30,000 has already been raised by ROL with managing director Sarah Wikevand saying her team was “determined” to reach its goal.
“We have been thinking of ways we can help in the current climate. Donating to the NHS Charities Together gives us a chance to show our customers, colleagues, partners and suppliers that we want to help make a difference,” Wikevand said.
"NHS staff and volunteers are doing such amazing work in caring for patients with Covid-19 and we want to do our bit to show our support too. We have set a goal to raise £100,000 by the end of June and we are determined to reach this to show our appreciation to the amazing NHS, who are working tirelessly to save lives, every day.
“A donation is made for every booking made with us, which will then be used by the NHS in so many ways. We are really pleased to have received support from the Daily Mail and Telegraph with this initiative. We are confident in reaching our ambitious target and would like to thank everyone who is supporting us along the way.”
