Howard joins the luxury line with 20 years’ experience in the travel industry and will focus on developing existing relationships with Regent’s trade partners and growing new partnerships across the UK market.

Her responsibilities will include account management and the implementation of sales campaigns, as well as identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with travel agents.

Graham Sadler, senior vice-president and managing director EMEA for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said the company is "delighted to welcome Roxanne".

"With extensive experience we know she will be a great asset and strengthen our UK business as we return to the seven seas," he added.

Howard began her career in travel in 2001, where she progressed from apprentice to branch manager at Thomas Cook, and has since held a number of roles including senior product and category executive in cruise for Kuoni Travel and senior product manager at Asmallworld.

She said: "I am delighted to join the team, and am thrilled to be able to showcase the unrivalled Regent experience to the UK travel trade."
