The line announced on Tuesday (4 April) that more than 400 agents from Europe, the Middle East and Africa will embark on a four-night Seminar at Sea event onboard the Symphony of the Seas vessel.
Sailing from Barcelona to Rome, agents will understand what it means to go on Royal Caribbean holiday, discovering the cruise line’s brand and products through customised training sessions and first-hand experiences. These will include “glow-in-the-dark” games of laser tag as well as Broadway shows.
“First-hand experience is an incredible sales tool, and coupling this with the in-depth education they’ll receive on board, the Seminar at Sea will set them up for success in crafting the best family experiences for their clients,” said Ben Bouldin, vice-president for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Bouldin’s words were echoed by sales director for the UK, Ireland and Spain Stuart Byron, who said the Seminar at Sea was “an incredible opportunity to educate and develop relationships like never before – with a good dose of thrill and chill along the way.”
The seminar’s announcement comes on the heels of Royal Caribbean offering agents double rewards for all bookings made for Anthem of the Seas’ 2023 sailings.
