Alongside senior business development advisor Joanne Peters, McDermott will work to promote the Spanish hotel chain and grow brand awareness amongst agents.

He brings with him more than 30 years of industry experience with previous roles at Hurtigruten, AmaWaterways, Heritage and Veranda Resorts, A-Rosa River Cruises and most recently JTA Travel.
 
McDermott will support the continued expansion and growth of Palladium within the UK and Irish markets, from both a tour operator and travel agent perspective.

This will involve visiting agents and operators to provide updates and conduct training, hosting fam trips and attending industry events across the UK and Ireland.

"The role will provide me with the opportunity to engage with our key tour operator partners and travel agent community, and successfully lead the way in expanding our presence in both the UK and Irish markets."
 
Nikki Curran will also be joining Palladium Hotel Group on a part-time basis to provide support with administration, event planning and fam trips.
