The budget carrier on Wednesday (3 August) revealed it carried 16.8 million passengers last month.
This compares with 9.3 million in July 2021.
Load factor was 96%, up from 80% a year earlier. In total, Ryanair operated approximately 92,300 flights in July.
July marks the seventh consecutive month of both passenger and load factor growth for Ryanair.
In January, Ryanair carried seven million passengers on a load factor of 79%.
Rival Wizz Air on Tuesday (2 August) reported a 61% year-on-year increase in July carryings to nearly five million on a load factor of 89.7%.
