The new parental leave policy means expectant mothers and fathers who have been employed with either company for at least a year are entitled to eight-weeks at full pay for births or adoptions.
UVUK and UCHL are also providing employees with a £1,500 annual training budget to further their professional development and help them get to the next stage in their career, or to move into another department within the business.
Full-time staff can earn up to 27 days of annual leave per calendar year, plus UK bank holidays, depending on how long they have been employed. This entitlement includes an extra day off for staff on or around their birthday.
The firms have also increased the sick pay entitlement and will now extend a concessionary rate for holidays to Sandals and Beaches Resorts to staff who have been employed for just six months.
Karl Thompson, managing director of UVUK and UCHL said: "This is an exciting move for our business. We have made these improvements for our hard-working and loyal staff members who have stuck by us during difficult times during the pandemic."
