Sales manager for the north, Jonathan Davies, has been promoted to national key accounts manager for the region, while colleague Wendi Hardy moves across to oversee national key accounts in the south.

Meanwhile, William Young – current sales manager Scotland, Northern Ireland and north east England – has been handed additional responsibility for increasing agent awareness of the group’s touring product, as well as strengthening ties with the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA).

New to the team is Emerald Cruises marketing executive Lewis Quigley, who will take up the position of sales manager for the north and central. All roles will become effective on 1 April 2023.

"The launches of Scenic Eclipse II and Emerald Sakara will soon be upon us, so it makes sense to ensure our sales team is the strongest in the business," said director of trade sales Andrea Stafford.

"Over the last 12 months we have dramatically increased our trade presence, and the huge interest in the new vessels will only focus more attention on what we offer.

"Our sales managers will continue to work smartly with retail, homeworking and driving the niche medium size operators. We are intent on boosting our brilliant touring proposition and developing new partnerships with luxe agents across the country."
