The vessel, which is on course to enter service in April 2023 with its inaugural sailing from Lisbon, is due to float out at its shipyard in Rijeka, Croatia, later this month.
Its debut season will include itineraries in the Mediterranean, Scotland, the Americas, the Caribbean and both Polar regions. In 2024 the ship will also visit Australia, Polynesia and Indonesia.
Eclipse II, which is a near-identical build to sister yacht Scenic Eclipse, has been tweaked based on feedback from guests and crew working onboard. Guests can expect to see enhancements to the Senses Spa and a larger pool and outdoor area on Deck 10.
Andrea Stafford, director of trade sales UK for the Scenic Group, said the addition of Eclipse II to the line’s fleet continues its mission to bring "once-in-a-lifetime exploration" to guests.
"Our discovery yachts are unique in that they can handle extreme and diverse conditions, meaning they can go from the icy waters of the Arctic and Antarctic to the warmth of the Caribbean, and explore ports and coves that larger vessels just cannot access," Stafford added.
Sailings onboard Scenic Eclipse II start from £5,785pp based on the Crossing the Transatlantic: Lisbon to New England sailing which will depart on 30 September 2023.
