Grout will bring 15 years’ travel industry experience to the role overseeing G Touring’s guided touring brands.
Much of Grout’s experience has been gained across a range of operational, product development, commercial contracting, sales and reservations roles with The Travel Corporation in the UK, Switzerland and the Channel Islands.
"Simon brings with him a wealth of experience of all areas of tour operating," said G Touring managing director Alastair Campbell.
"As Just You and Travelsphere continue to operate more holidays, the time is right to strengthen with someone with Simon’s expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences."
Grout’s appointment comes after Travelsphere operated its first overseas departure for more than 20 months last week; Just You, meanwhile, has been operating UK tours since August and last month had guests head to Iceland and Jordan.
