Yonda, the self-drive sightseeing tour brand, has revealed its first travel trade initiative.
Yonda launched in the UK earlier this year. It offers 90-minute self-drive tours in convertible Smart Cars that provide audio commentary via GPS technology. Prices start at £24pp and there are chauffered options for single passengers.
Working with b2me Tourism Marketing, Yonda will next year launch an agents’ training guide and begin a UK sales mission. The first of two London fam trips has already taken place, with another scheduled for late January.
Yonda’s co-founder James Kafton said: “This year has been a great year following our May launch and we want to continue this success into 2018, which is why we’re investing in the travel trade.
“Our initiative will allow us to reach new markets and develop a range of diverse partnerships. The new training guide, along with the sales missions and fam tours, will also provide agents with the tools they need to successfully sell our product.”
