Stansted served 28.5 million passengers last year

Stansted is aiming to recruit 1,000 new staff members with roles available in airport security, customer service, engineering and retail.

The London airport will hold a jobs fair at the Radisson Blu Hotel on 7 February to showcase companies such as Ryanair, Titan Airways, Border Force, Jet2.com, World Duty Free, HMS Host, National Express and Harrods Aviation.

Nathan Mullane, Stansted’s employment and skills manager, said: "After a very successful recruitment campaign which we kicked-off early last year to get Stansted ready for summer 2022, we’re now looking forward to this summer, which is expected to be even busier as passenger number continue to increase."
