SunExpress to go up against Jet2 and Tui at Leeds Bradford next summer

A new carrier will go up against Jet2.com and Tui on Leeds Bradford airport’s Antalya route next summer.

The latest from SunExpress and London Luton Airport — SunExpress will launch flights to Antalya next year

Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa joint venture, SunExpress, will launch flights to Turkey’s south coast from the Yorkshire airport in March 2024. SunExpress will operate the route three times a week.

Nicola McMullen, Leeds Bradford aviation director, said the flights would offer Yorkshire holidaymakers more options to access Turkey and its resorts. Peter Glade, SunExpress commercial director, added the destination offered "unbeatable value for money".

Jet2.com will serve Antalya daily this summer, while Tui will fly to the destination twice a week.
