From 25 November, weekly sessions will focus on Scenic and Emerald Cruises’ product as part of a new push by the luxury operators to drive trade engagement ahead of the peak selling period.
Scenic and Emerald Cruises director of trade sales Andrea Stafford said: "We’ve made no secret of the fact that Scenic sees huge potential in the travel trade, and we’re keen to spread our message far and wide.
"Every week more and more agents are selling Scenic and Emerald Cruises products for the first time and there is a real thirst for knowledge in the sector."
Live 30-minute webinar sessions will kick off with sales manager Jonathan Davies looking at the Rhine, Main and Danube, tailored to agents new to river cruising.
On 2 December, sales manager William Young and Louise Tansey will host a Scenic and Emerald Cruises New to Luxury Yachts session, before trade support executive Ryan Readman hosts a webinar about Emerald Azzurra’s Caribbean season on 9 December.
On 16 December, group managing director Richard Twynam will give an overview on the brand’s Wave campaign, and on 21 December the Top 5 Highlights on Christmas Markets cruises session will be hosted by Stafford.
The group is also running a series of Agents that Lunch events for trade partners in towns and cities across the UK during December.
Meals out will take place in Guildford, Surrey and Manchester (6 Dec); Sutton Coldfield and Edinburgh (7 Dec); Brentwood, Essex (13 Dec); Solihull (14 Dec); and Cardiff (15 Dec).
