Launched in November, the platform allows agents to share Top Villas’ portfolio of more than 10,000 properties with their clients without fear "of being cut out from the booking process".

James Mannings, co-founder and chief executive of Top Villas, said the platform was creating opportunities for agents to redefine the way they showcase product to clients.

Luxury Villa Rentals offers live availability and rates, enhanced search, interactive maps and filters, with new customisation features coming during the first half of 2024.

These, the company says, will allow agents to further personalise their presence on the platform with their own logo, domain and bespoke enquiry and contact forms.

Mannings said the 15,000 agent sign-ups from the US and UK market was testament to the gap in the market the platform was filling.

“Now more than ever, as technology continues to advance, it’s crucial for travel agents to have the most user-friendly and cutting-edge tools to support them in strengthening their relationships with clients, which we feel we have achieved," Mannings added.

Optimised for mobile devices, the interface also allows agents clients to take a "virtual journey" through the Top Villas portfolio, which spans more than 150 destinations, with a particular focus on Florida and Orlando.

"Full home descriptions, detailed lists of amenities, high-quality and engaging visuals, as well as immersive walkthroughs, are all made readily available so that clients can gain a comprehensive understanding of each property," said Top Villas.
