Tourism Tokyo has added new modules to its online trade training platform to mark Japan’s reopening and encourage travellers to visit locations outside of the city limits.
The training programme, which launched in September 2022, now provides further modules with details on post-Covid recommendations and new activities as a result of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 legacy.
In addition, the platform provides information on the city’s food, art, entertainment, architecture and nature offerings.
Agents who complete all six Tokyo online training modules by the end of February will go into a draw to win furoshiki Japanese wrapping cloths and Tokyo branded goodies.
This year, Tokyo has a number of new hotels and attractions opening, with eight new properties including Bulgari Hotel Tokyo and Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya, as well as a new interactive teamLab museum.
