Tradewind Voyages has announced plans for Golden Horizon’s Mediterranean debut next year.
The tall ship will begin its season in Portugal in April and end in Piraeus in October 2022.
The programme will offer 22 different voyages and include visits to Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece and Turkey.
Golden Horizon’s inaugural sailing in the region will be a seven-night voyage from Lisbon to Palma, with the Balearic capital becoming the base for all round-trip sailings in May. The vessel will then operate round trips from Civitavecchia in June, Split in July and Piraeus from August to October.
Chief executive of Tradewind Voyages, Alan McGrory, said: "We’re delighted to bring the world’s largest tall ship to the Mediterranean next summer and we are looking forward to sharing the details of this spectacular portfolio very soon."
Voyages will range from seven to 11 nights and full details and prices will be released on 19 October 2021.
