It comes as nearly 60 of the homeworking firm’s agents recorded their strongest ever sales month in June.
This follows six months’ worth of record-breaking performances for the company, with sales running at 150% of pre-pandemic levels. The company also welcomed 18 new business owners last month, 10 of which came from outside the travel industry.
As bookings continue to grow, the company is looking to recruit more agents to maximise growing demand. Those with no travel experience have joined the Travel Counsellors Academy, which provides training and mentoring for those wanting a career in the travel industry.
The six-month onboarding programme means academy trainees train on the job, are able to start making bookings from week two and receive support from the firm’s training team.
Kirsten Hughes, UK managing director at Travel Counsellors, said the company has had a "tremendous" six months and its record-breaking June "shows no sign of slowing down".
"We are actively looking for new franchisees and can offer ambitious individuals the opportunity to work flexibly and be in charge of their own destiny," she added.
"This is something that we know many are searching for after reassessing their own personal goals over the last two very difficult years."
