Three more major US travel brands have stopped offering perks to the country’s National Rifle Association following the latest school shooting.
United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Best Western have severed links with the pro-gun group after the massacre of 17 people at a school in Florida on Valentine’s Day.
United announced via Twitter that it would no longer offer the NRA discounted rates for those attending its annual convention and ordered the association to remove its details from its website. Delta has stopped offering group travel concessions and ordered its details to be removed.
Wyndham, Hertz, Enterprise and Avis Budget have also ended their NRA discounts. American Airlines did not offer discounts to the NRA.
