The week-long online festival includes immersive live workshops tasting the finest Australian wines, chocolate and whiskies; trends updates from Tourism Australia and leading suppliers and agents; training sessions from each state and territory; and virtual fams from Signature Experiences, Australia’s collectives of some of the finest elements the country has to offer.
Taking place 27-31 March and designed in partnership with Tourism Australia, TTG Aussie Fest – Luxury Edition will also offer the chance for travel sellers to gain a place on an incredible fam trip in May flying with Qantas and heading to check out Silky Oaks Lodge in Tropical North Queensland; spending time in Sydney; and heading over to Perth and Western Australia.
Travel sellers of all experience are welcome to sign up for the event for free, with a full programme of sessions over the week, but this year has a special luxury edition, with a particular focus on the high-end and experiential side of what Australia has to offer.
The Signature Experiences virtual fams include sessions with Discover Aboriginal Experiences; Australian Wildlife Journeys; Luxury Lodges of Australia; Cultural Attractions of Australia; Great Golf Courses of Australia; and Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia. Each of the sessions will also have a live Q&A for travel sellers to find out more.
Speakers including Georgia Blackburn, regional general manager UKMEA, Qantas; Sally Cope, regional general manager UK & Northern Europe, Tourism Australia; Sarah Lancashire, marketing director, Gold Medal & Pure Luxury; Mark Swords, founder of Swords Travel; and Esther Ward, business associate, Designer Travel will all discuss travel trends and how to sell Australia to luxury clients.
Live tasting workshops will take place on three days, expertly led by Brown Brothers Wine, Haigh’s Chocolates and Lark Distillery, offering an insight into Tasmanian whisky.
Daily prizes from cult beauty brand Aesop – which was founded in Australia – will also be available across the week.
