Agent members of The Travel Network Group have reported one of their strongest trading weeks since the onset of the pandemic.
A large number of sales made between 23-29 May were for departures this summer, with Spain, Greece and Turkey making up the majority of bookings.
Chief commercial officer Vim Vithaldas said the consortium was also experiencing an increase in long-haul business compared to earlier in the year.
Vithaldas added how increased administration on the back of widespread flight cancellations coupled with long call waiting times when dealing with suppliers “continue to be challenging” to members.
