The store welcomed its first customers over the bank holiday weekend after opening its doors on Friday (24 May). Features include customer booths, a bureau exchange counter and a welcome desk.

Tui The Springs will open from 10am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays. It brings Tui’s retail network to 328, which includes a Leeds city centre branch.

"We were all so excited to see the queue of customers outside the doors and we couldn’t wait to welcome in the first customers come through when we officially opened," said store manager Shelly Rushton.

"We’ve loved meeting everyone over the long weekend, and hearing how excited they are about the new store opening and having our experts on hand to help them book their holiday."

Rushton said the team had seen strong initial demand for last-minute bookings, with customers keen to get away in the coming weeks. Value has been another hot topic, Rushton continued, with clients keen to lock in package bookings for summer 2025.

"It’s been really encouraging to share our expertise and help customers learn about all these amazing places and travel opportunities we offer," she added.
