Tui will put some of its properties in the fire-ravaged south of Rhodes back on sale on Monday (31 July).
The operator said “many” of its hotels in the south would be back on sale, adding its flexible policy remained for those who wished to change their booking.
In a message to clients it added: “For now, we’re giving you the flexibility to choose what’s right for you. As we continue to assess the situation and update our holiday programme, we are taking great care and time to review the areas and hotels affected considering what the customer experience will be like.
“We’ll be in direct contact with you if for any reason your holiday can’t go ahead as planned.”
Tui reiterated the north of the island “was untouched”, adding “as the situation settles many resorts and hotels in the south are welcoming guests again or preparing to do so”.
The independent Tui Care Foundation has launched a fundraising appeal to support local people affected by the fires, and has pledged to match fund any donations.
