BA passengers around the world and other UK airports are also facing long delays.
It comes after the airline apologised this morning for an “IT systems outage”.
Customers on Saturday said they were unable to use the carrier’s website and app, with one customer tweeting that they had missed their flight because they were unable to log into the app and access his boarding pass.
Check-in, bag drops, take-offs and landings are all delayed according to the BBC.
British Airways tweeted earlier to say that it was “working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible”.
