It’s not quite business as usual, but MSC Cruises has given a timely snapshot of life onboard MSC Grandiosa under the line’s new Covid health and safety protocols.
Grandiosa resumed sailing on 16 August, and is currently sailing a series of itineraries from Civitavecchia (Genoa) calling in Naples, Palermo and Maltese capital Valletta.
MSC’s video covers everything from new embarkation procedures, to what onboard facilities and entertainment is available, and even features some testimonials from guests.
MSC Magnifica, meanwhile, will return to service from 19 October operating longer, 10-night itineraries calling in Italy, Malta and Greece, operating under the same protocols.
While British and Irish guests can’t currently sail with MSC owing to respective government restrictions, MSC said it was ready to welcome British and Irish guests whenever advice allows.
The line added it was working with Clia and the rest of the cruise industry to achieve this.
