The adults-only line, which has now grown to eight UK-based sales staff, has recruited Kerry Buchanan, Jack Atherton and Layla Davies in agent-supporting roles.
Buchanan joins as a sales executive working in the line’s trade support team, while Atherton will be Virgin Voyages’ business development manger (South).
Joining him on the road will be Davies in her role as business development manager (North). Davies comes to Virgin Voyages with previous knowledge of the brand having worked at Aviate, which operates Voyage Store.
Buchanan and Atherton’s appointments also mark their return to the travel industry.
The trio of hires follows the appointment of Luke Day as Virgin’s trade training specialist earlier this month and the launch of the line’s first ship, Scarlet Lady, this summer in Portsmouth.
Shane Riley, associate vice-president of international sales, said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Kerry, Jack and Layla to our UK sales crew.
“We’ve doubled the size of our team and the commitment to our First Mates [agents]. We set out to find rock stars and we did just that.
“Our expanded team will mean we can reach more First Mates than ever before and we can’t wait to share more plans.”
