Twice-weekly flights to Budapest will get under way from 14 November, operating on Tuesday and Saturdays. A few days later, twice-weekly Glasgow-Bucharest flights will get under way from 17 November, operating on Mondays and Fridays.

Matt Hazelwood, chief commercial officer at AGS Airports, which owns Glasgow airport, said: "Wizz Air’s return to Glasgow is fantastic news, offering two sensational destinations in central and eastern Europe.
"From this winter, Scottish travellers can jet away to Budapest and Bucharest, both flown twice weekly. Both destinations will offer our passengers the perfect city break this winter."
Earlier this year, data shared exclusively with TTG by social video network TikTok revealed Bucharest had become the most searched-for destination on the platform.
