Newmarket's India Tour options
Hayley expands on the multiple India tours Newmarket Holidays offers, including its Premier Collection tour in the country: India – Rajasthan Grand Palace & and Historic Fort Stays, which – like all Premier Collection tours – is a small group tour.
“Our Premier tours are designed for a more intimate and relaxed travel experience – high quality accommodations and thoughtfully paced itineraries that let customers savour each moment,” explains Hayley. “I think that's really important to highlight that you do get that downtime,” she adds.
“On the other side of country, we have a tour called Kerala and India's Beautiful South, which explores this idyllic land of ancient ports, temples, tea plantations and so much more.
“If customers are interested in visiting both sides of the country, we offer Highlights of India – From the Golden Triangle to Kerala, which is a relatively new tour. This visits landmarks of the Golden Triangle and Ranthambore [National] Park, down onto Shimla and the Himalayan foothills, and then Kerala’s serene backwaters and the vibrant city of Mumbai as well. It captures all of India in one amazing tour.”

Jennifer: Welcome to our In the Spotlight video with Newmarket Holidays. Hayley, could you tell us why travellers should be choosing Newmarket Holidays?

We run excellent campaigns all the way through the year, whether that's a full month campaign or flash sales, or pulse offers; which helps with big savings to help drive bookings into agents’ businesses.
This year we've started to introduce trade exclusive discounts, giving our agent partners an edge in securing those customers’ bookings, and this month is no exception.
We always invest heavily in agent engagement. We've got a big team out on the road.
And we are, or have, should I say, run more fam trips than ever before this year – this is the largest fam trip programme that we've had. We are trying to do even more in 2026. That allows agents to personally experience the quality and the value of a Newmarket tour so they can sell it better.
We all know the importance of fam trips, so we want to be able to give the opportunity to more agents than ever to come on one of our fam trips this year and into next year.
My dedicated trade team are amazing, where I have six account managers out on the road, which do visits, go and talk to agents, help with consumer events, marketing support, any support they need… covering the whole of the UK. We have a trade support executive – who's there for queries, for social media posts, for webinars, for training, for any kind of pricing – and a partnerships manager.
So we are all here to support our agents. Plus, we have our trade website, which all the tours are on. Agents can download tour posters for marketing for their windows or in stores. We have marketing support, whether that's bespoke… anything agents need, they just need to get in contact with myself or the team.
Jennifer: I believe Newmarket Holidays is running an India Focus Month for the month of September. Tell us a bit about that and Newmarket's, top selling tours to the country.
Hayley: We are really excited to be running an India Focus Month throughout September, and actually into October as well. We are supporting our incredible DMC partner in India and supporting our trade partners with this.
We are offering a trade exclusive discount of 15% off all India tours on all departure dates, whether that's 2025, 2026 or 2027 departures, and that's for all bookings made between the 1st and 30th of September. So that's a trade exclusive 15% off all India tours.
To support this campaign also, we will be doing social media post offers so agents can post on their own pages. We've got engaging video content, imagery and marketing materials for agents to use if they need.
And then to top it off, there is an amazing opportunity to win a place on our India Super FAM Trip in 2026, which will be early on in 2026. And it's going to be our biggest number count fam trip so far. We've never run a “super fam”.
India continues to be one of our top selling destinations, and this campaign is all about giving our travel partners the tools, the incentive, the experience they need to drive the bookings and grow their knowledge on this wonderful country.
Jennifer: Can you expand a little bit on the tours that you offer to India?
Hayley: Our India tours are carefully designed to offer a rich, immersive experience of this amazing destination.
In total, we offer over 10 different options, and that will continue to expand. We offer a Premier Collection tour. We offer a Solo Exclusive tour, but one of our bestselling and most popular itineraries is the India – Tigers & the Taj Mahal, which combines the iconic sites of Deli, of Agra and Jaipur, with a chance to go to Ranthambhore National Park to see the Bengal Tigers. I've done this tour and it is one of the best tours I've ever done. It also has a great lead-in price, and this tour also has the option to add on a Goa beach extension.
All of our tours, of course, are on hand with expert guides, handpicked accommodation and carefully planned excursions, making them ideal for first time visitors and also seasoned travellers.
We are working hard in the background to be able to offer agents and customers something different in India, something new, something that not everyone does within the touring market. And that's our focus, to bring out new, innovative tours.
