G Adventures has confirmed it will restart its Jordan programme in August following a three-month pause owing to the conflict in the Middle East.

The Foreign Office strengthened its travel advice for Jordan in early March, days after the US and Israel's initial strikes on Iran, advising against all but essential travel to the country.
However, the FCDO rolled this back earlier this month, paving the way for a resumption of UK tourism to Jordan – a popular touring and adventure destination.
