In her new role, Butlin will build trade relationships and support agents in the East Midlands as well as provide training, support and insight across the four dnata B2B brands – Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys.
Previously, Butlin worked at the Midcounties Co-operative Travel branch in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, for more than two years.
Butlin will work alongside the trade partnership managers, as well as her fellow trade partnership executives Rhiannon Simpson, Eleanor Ferry, Gloria Forrai and Amy Seymour, who have all been hired in the last 15 months.
Gold Medal said it had made "a substantial commitment to the trade team to secure these five new roles, which are designed to maximise the support for retail stores and homeworkers".
Director of trade partnerships Karen Fletcher said: “Hannah's background as a high street travel agent gives her valuable insight into what our partners need to best grow their business with the support of our brands.”
Butlin added: “I am incredibly pleased to be joining the team at Gold Medal, and I am keen to get out on the road, meeting and supporting travel agents.
"It's such an exciting next step in my career and I know I will learn so much from the expert team in place, who have already welcomed me with open arms.”
