Managing Director Richard Slater, who is a member of Abta's board of directors, told TTG he hopes to get P&O Cruises, Cunard, APT and Jet2holidays in soon to tell clients more about their products.
The agency recently held a customer-facing event with Riviera Travel, which generated a five-figure sum in bookings.
Henbury will take over the former Halifax branch in Macclesfield's Chestergate in October after the bank vacated the premises last year.
The new shop is currently being refurbished by the landlord, who owns and lets more than 100 properties across Macclesfield.
Slater said Henbury will initially rent the ground floor, but revealed he could "potentially" look to expand to the first and second floors of the same building in the future.
He also suggested Henbury may look to recruit more staff to ensure the agency works "smarter not harder".
"In the new premises, we'll still sell Jet2holidays and easyJet holidays but the number of bookings with the likes of Prestige Holidays, If Only and Typically Holidays is increasing," he explained.
"Plus, rail and cruise [holidays] has also gone up this year too – people are looking for someone with skills and knowledge to book those holidays."
Slater was bullish on his agency's prospects and those of other bricks and mortar operations. "Some online travel companies out there could be in trouble in the next 10 years," he predicted.
"It turns out that having a real person to talk to – someone who knows what they’re doing and is there when you need them – still matters."
On the new shop, Slater said: "It has the same depth but is twice the width of the existing shop. We're going to use what we have. We're taking the existing furniture from the shop. Our customers are not bothered about £50,000 of new furniture fittings.
"The existing place is great. We've not outgrown it, but we just needed that bit more space. It will be more comfortable. Our customers find it funny [in the current shop] but we want to make it more relaxing for them. We're now going to have one of the largest premises on the street."
Slater revealed Chestergate has 109 units, of which 99 units are occupied. In 2011, Slater launched Henbury Travel from home after being made redundant.
Seven years later, Henbury Travel opened its first high-street shop at 127 Chestergate before switching to its current site on the road in 2023.
