Jet2 said the agreement, signed at WTM London this week, means Jet2holidays is now the UK’s leading tour operator to Croatia, and Jet2.com the leading airline to the country outside of London.
The UK's largest tour operator said it was committed to boosting the development of tourism in Croatia over the next four years.
The agreement with the Croatian National Tourist Board will see Jet2 continue to increase seat capacity to Croatia over the next several years.
Jet2 has operated to Croatia for 17 years and in summer 2026, will operate 19 routes to three Croatian gateways from nine of its 13 UK airport bases – including three brand new routes.
There were 825,000 UK market arrivals and 4.1 million overnight stays to Croatia during the first 10 months of the year, up 1% and 2% respectively year-on-year.
Jet2 will work with the tourist board to run “heavyweight” campaigns that promote Croatia as a holiday destination to UK holidaymakers, including offline and online campaigns such as digital, out-of-home and social media, as well as the co-creation of dedicated Croatia holiday and video content.
Jet2 and the Croatian National Tourist Board will also hold regular strategic meetings to shape the ongoing partnership, whilst sharing customer insight and working closely on specific collaborations and events to target stakeholders, as well as holidaymakers.
'A truly desirable destination'
David Neill, corporate affairs and sustainability director at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Croatia is a much-loved destination with our customers, and we look forward to driving further growth through this fantastic co-operation.”
Kristjan Stanicic, director at Croatian National Tourist Board, added: “With an increase in arrivals and overnight stays from UK holidaymakers this year, Croatia is truly bolstering its position as one of the most desirable Mediterranean destinations.
“We are delighted to sign this valuable cooperation agreement with Jet2, a partner that makes an outstanding contribution to the accessibility and promotion of Croatian destinations. This partnership, along with ongoing marketing activities and a focus on high-quality offerings, further reinforces Croatia's position as an attractive and well-connected destination.”
The Croatian Tourist Board said it also had successful meetings at WTM London with easyJet Holidays and Abta, among others.
